The Center for Gerontology has served as the organizational unit and focal point for aging-related research, education, and outreach activities for 30 years, making it one of the oldest university-level research centers at Virginia Tech. Administrators, faculty, students, advisory board members, and friends will join the Center staff to recognize Gerontology Graduate Certificate and scholarship recipients and the outstanding accomplishments of faculty affiliated with the Center. Renowned gerontologist, Dr. Joe Hendricks of Oregon State University will present the celebration’s keynote address.
